Looking at the new books I got in April.
I’ve had my eye on Sixteen Ways to Defend a Walled City for a while now so when it popped up as being a daily deal (or something), I made sure I grabbed it.
The others, I’d either heard of on social media or I’d read something else by them already. Plus, I figure you can’t go wrong with a book about worldbuilding.
I’ve been looking forward to the finale of Jonathan French‘s Bastards trilogy, well, since the the second book; and I wanted to read & review Warlord before the third in Keith McArdle‘s Ironstone Saga drops next month.
A few of the others had been in my wishlist for a while so I decided to take the chance and pick them up.
