Aside from the books that I got for my birthday (more about which in a minute) I didn’t get that many new books in May.
Bookshelves
When pushed, I would have to say the late Sir Terry Pratchett is my favourite author. I’ve been reading his books since my early-mid teens and he is certainly the one author I have re-read the most.
Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I lost several of the paperbacks I had and many of the ones that I was able to retain were pretty battered. So I’ve had my eye on these collector’s editions for a time now and when Britt wanted ideas for my birthday this year, I showed her the sets. To be honest, I was not expecting her to conspire with my mother-in-law in order to get me all of them.
Anyways, if you would like to get a better look at the covers, or maybe ever order them for yourselves, here is the link to the Discworld Emporium.
Kindle Books
This time only four ebooks, between two authors; and, in both cases, adding to series that I already have in my TBR list.
Audiobooks
Two fiction, two non-fiction. I feel like I haven’t read enough non-fiction over the past few years and these seemed both timely and interesting.
